The new Fanwood Memorial Library is funded partially by the NJ Library Construction Bond Act made possible by a statewide referendum in 2017. The Borough of Fanwood is excited to have a new Library that will be fully accessible and large enough to meet the needs of the growing community.

The old library was demolished in early 2023 to make way for the new two story building, which will be more than double the size of the old structure.   The long awaited new facility will feature a large community room, meeting spaces, a business center, teen space and more.  It will provide more flexibility, better spaces, support services current wit emerging technology and a building that will be a sustainable community asset for many years to come.
