Construction Costs: $35 Million

Project Scope: Epic provided construction and closeout phase Construction Management Services, including full time on site representation, for the expansion of a fully functioning water treatment plant for the New Jersey American Water Company.

As Construction Manager, Epic directly provided full time on site management services for this complex design build project during the construction and closeout phases.  

Two sedimentation / flocculation basins with pre-engineered building

One completely sealed ozone tank with service tunnel to existing building

New 30 MGD pumps and upgrades at the Raw Water Pump Station

New 33 MGD pumps and upgrades at the Finish Water Pump Station

New polymer feed and aqua ammonia systems

New generators, substation and related utility work

New SCADA and Transdyn control systems 

Upgrades to the plant’s control room layout and equipment

All related architectural, mechanical, electrical and site upgrades 

The work, which was successfully performed without any interruption of service to the Owner’s clients, required connection and renovations work to occur on an accelerated schedule, carefully planned around service demand and weather conditions.
