Construction Costs: $9 million

Project Scope: Epic was construction manager/ constructor for this 100-bed assisted living facility, located on approximately 2 acres of land on East Brunswick, New Jersey. The exterior of this Georgian-style mansion features many dormers, porches, and white picket railing, as well as a large porte conchere at the main entrance.

The interior contains 25,000 lf of wood crown molding, chair rail, and base molding, and many sizes of architectural columns.  Two gas fireplaces are located off the Grand Foyer which houses a four-foot-wide grand staircase and upper balcony.  One full size and two smaller kitchens and dining rooms provide three full meals daily for all residents.  Two wings of the facility are dedicated to special needs patients, especially those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.  These wings are secured with the latest security alarm technology.

The mansard roof architecturally disguises the rooftop equipment used to heat and cool the 75,000 sf facility.
