Construction Costs: $14.5 million

Epic was selected to build this new minor league baseball stadium with 6,500 seats and 20 luxury boxes featuring a major league specified playing field system.  The project held an aggressive ten month construction schedule and was completed on time and on budget.

Project highlights include 3,000 sf in state of the art concessions – two on the concourse level and one at the luxury box level – 4,500 sf team offices, a 450 sf ticket office, 900 sf store, press box for media, radio, television, announcer/ scoreboard operator, and the largest scoreboard in minor league baseball at the time.  The exterior architecture consists of brick sloping metal roofs with ornamental metal trusses and three monumental entrances to the ballpark.

Designed by Clark Caton Hintz & SSP Architectural Group, it was named “Best Independent Minor League Ballpark in the nation by Ballpark Digest in 2015.  It is home to the Somerset Patriots minor league baseball team.  Opening Day was May 9, 1999.
