Construction Costs: $7.5 million 

The new Millburn Parking Garage project was constructed with precast concrete on a cast in place concrete spread foundation. The garage features an architectural design that compliments the neighborhood and local buildings, an energy saving lighting control system that cycles lamps to reduce operating costs, an occupancy sensor system, emergency generator, security camera system with DVR and off-site monitoring capability and elevator for commuters.  The project team overcame several challenges caused by the restricted downtown shopping district location. 

This project included planning and coordination with New Jersey Transit, for required work that was located in their easement.  The 400 spaces in the garage are designated for use by business permit, commuter and daily parking patrons.  The final design allows for the addition of a future level and additional elevator.
