Construction Costs: $50 million
Pre-construction, construction and close-out professional services for this new 10 level precast concrete parking structure including an additional 61,000 square feet of commercial and retail space.
Project Highlights: 657 space parking facility that provides parking for 14 stories of residential tower that sits atop the parking structure. The garage is wrapped on the north and east sides by 5 stories of office space along with a 50,000 sf Barnes & Noble University Bookstore. There will be a walkway and pedestrian bridge from Somerset St to the south bound train platform which also connects to the parking garage.
Key Elements: The garage operates 24 hours per day, 365 days per year with an automated “pay on foot” revenue collection system for efficient continuous operation. Extensive technology and camera equipment enable security operations to be efficiently monitored. The garage is fully fire sprinkled and fire alarmed fulfilling all life safety requirements.
