The City of Bridgeport created an Energy Improvement District to promote the planning, development, funding and operation of energy related applications in the City.  The District specifically focuses on Anaerobic Digestion, Solar Photovoltaic energy and Energy Supplier Services. Epic served as the Program Manager for the City of Bridgeport’s Energy Improvement District.  Our team assisted in preparation and solicitation of RFP for design, build, financing and operation of the Anaerobic Digestion and Cogeneration system ($18 million), assisted in preparation of two applications to the Connecticut DEEP Micro-grid Pilot Loan and Grant Program and assisted in preparation and solicitation of RFP for design, build, financing and operation of Microgrid and Cogeneration system for the Bridgeport City Hall and Police Department Complex ($3 million).
