Project: Ocean Grove Boardwalk Phase I
Epic’s Role: General Contractor
Construction Costs: $1.1 million
Epic provided general construction services to replace 950 linear feet of boardwalk in Ocean Grove for the Phase I work. The team drove 260 new piles and installed new girders, joists, 32,000 sf of new decking and rails using 6 x 8 tongue and groove wood bulkhead in from of the existing steel sheet pile bulkhead. The project was celebrated with an on time completion and a town wide ribbon cutting ceremony during the 4th of July weekend festivities.
