Project: Thompson Park Visitor Center

Epic’s Role:  Construction Manager/ Advisor

Construction Costs: $7.1 million

Project Scope: Epic was selected to provide Construction Manager/ Advisor services the new 20,000 sf historic mansion that was destroyed by a tragic fire.

The new Visitor Center has accessibility at all levels, an elevator and a full fire sprinkler system has been reconfigured to create larger meeting spaces. The interior spaces combine historical elements with some changes for the build’s public use. The front lobby, main stair hall and first floor rooms at the east end will retained the original room layout and architectural features to preserve their historical appearance.

The Visitor Center has reclaimed its role as a prominent landmark within the Park.
