Construction Costs: $3.8 million Task Order; $373,000 Laboratory construction costs
Project Scope: Epic was selected to provide CM/Build Services for the gut renovation of the existing Physics Laboratory at New York City College of Technology as part of Task Order No. 1 for CUNY’s CM/Design/Build contract CITYW-CUCF-01-09. The scope of work included new student and instructional laboratory benches and equipment, flooring, HVAC, asbestos abatement, lighting and electrical upgrades.
The project was planned and coordinated during occupied and active semester programs and was successfully completed with a fifteen-week construction duration, no loss time injuries or incidents and zero change orders.
