The Hale Center houses all strength and conditioning facilities for the University’s student athletes. In addition to more than 100 machines and free weight stations, Hale boasts new interactive digital classrooms, video rooms, a 150 seat theater, meeting rooms, locker rooms, training rooms and computer labs.
Epic worked closely with the Athletic Department and various coaches to insure minimal disruption to their ongoing operations. As the project’s phases lasted nearly 20 months, continual communication related to daily changes was critical. As Hale Center is adjacent to High Point Solutions Stadium, safety and housekeeping were paramount through two football seasons. Renovations included a new mechanical system, and complete rerouting of piping from the existing system through the existing operating facility to this new addition.
